Rescue Mission # 6

22 Lives Saved

 

Even though CoVid 19 is on the rise in many states, we will not let any obstacle stop us from rescuing animals that are in crisis situations. This past week our 6th rescue mission saved 22 animals that were to be destroyed in Texas at high kill shelters ranging in ages from 8 weeks to 5 years. We are sending a big shout out to all of our friends and supporters who made this possible. As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic has impacted every aspect of our day-to-day operations. Yet amid all the uncertainty, we are still rescuing homeless and neglected animals.

 

PLEASE NOTE:

We are conducting adoptions by appointment only, our adoption counselors are still helping to match pets with loving families. We will do the best we can to accommodate visitors to the shelter who do not have appointments but we may have to ask you to wait a short amount of time. Again, if you see a pet online that you are interested in,please fill out an online application ahead of time. MASKS are required on shelter grounds.

 

As you might expect given the circumstances, our adoption numbers and donations have dropped. But we will never give up on our no-kill mission, and we are hoping we can count on you during this difficult time.
